Maurice Law is proud to announce Sheryl Manychief as the firm’s newest partner!
Sheryl was raised on the Blood Tribe reserve in Southern Alberta, and also has family from the Pueblo Indian Nation of Taos Pueblo, New Mexico. She initially joined Maurice Law back in September 2006, and brings a great depth of knowledge, insight, and experience in serving our First Nations clientele, primarily in relation to specific claims.
Besides her thriving legal practice, Sheryl boasts an impressive side career as a barrel racer, even earning a coveted spot to compete in Las Vegas at the Indian National Finals Rodeo in 2017.
Sheryl is a powerful advocate for First Nations, and has proven her dedication over many years to advancing the cause of justice and reconciliation.
