Carly Fox, Partner
Carly is a member of the Blood Tribe located in southern Alberta. Carly was admitted to the Law Society of Alberta and joined Maurice Law as an Associate in 2008. Carly was also a summer student and articling student with the firm.
Carly graduated from the University of Victoria Faculty of Law in December 2006 where she had the opportunity to participate in the Kawaskimhon Moot in Toronto and received the Harvey Bell Memorial Prize in 2007 for academic excellence in law school.
Carly’s practice is focused on advancing the interests of her First Nation clients on a broad range of legal issues including aboriginal and treaty rights negotiation and litigation, governance issues, and consultation law. Carly currently represents First Nation communities across Canada in the resolution of Specific Claims and has drafted several land claim submissions and participated in settlement negotiations with the Provincial and Federal Governments.
